Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've just butchered your scripts to make it work on Ubuntu against my ever growing Podcast collection. Works perfectly. You've saved me days of heartache. Much appreciated.

Hi, am trying to make this work. As of today (June 28th) there are no 9999 versions of the libraries on the rion overlay. The latest versions are libplist-1.3 and usbmuxd-1.0.4. Are these ok?

Hi. Thank you for the guide.

I am trying to synchronize my iPod Touch with amarok, but unsuccessfully. It all ends up with amarok complaining that the device found by Solid "does not describe a portable media player or storage volume". Period. Cannot move any further, no matter how much I try.

So here is my question to you. Maybe it can cast some light on the problem. What iPod or iTouch do you use, what version of kernel, solid and hal?

Hi. Having some trouble getting this to work - I imagine I'm being dim. However, when connecting iPhone dmesg agrees that Apple iPhone is connected, etc etc, but then states that:

[15269.534320] usb 1-2: BOGUS urb flags, 1 --> 0
[15269.534322] usb 1-2: usbfs: usb_submit_urb returned -22

Subsequently, ifuse will not mount the iPhone:

# ifuse /mnt/ipod/
No device found, is it connected?
If it is make sure that your user has permissions to access the raw usb device.
If you're still having issues try unplugging the device and reconnecting it.

Have followed all of the points so far... If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate. Thanks.

Probably just a typo on here, the initial problem wasn't specifying the version correctly, it was the update. (had I not specified correctly in Gentoo, portage would have rendered 0 matches) =) As for blogging, it's better then spamming other places.
